What Does “IPS LCD Screen” Mean?

An IPS LCD screen is a type of TFT-LCD display designed to provide stable image quality from different viewing directions. IPS stands for In-Plane Switching, a liquid crystal technology that helps reduce color shift and contrast changes when the screen is viewed from the side, above, or below.
